I am Leticia Velásquez, founder of Beauty Emporio and an integral stylist specialized in cutting and coloring, with over 27 years of experience in the beauty industry.                                                 My education includes a master’s degree in cutting and coloring from Guatemala, where I achieved third place in national colorimetry and first place in the Lady Barber Junior category.          I also hold a diploma in barbering accredited by the Ministry of Education in Guatemala.
In my international journey, I validated my profession in Iceland, where I completed the licensing program (sveinspróf) and the master’s degree (Hársnyrtismeistari), becoming the first Latina accredited in my field and authorized to practice my profession.                         

I have been living in Iceland for six years, and I am fluent in both Spanish and Icelandic.                                                                                  I had the honor of participating as a sponsor of Fashion Week 2025 and was also part of the Modus Canva competition organized by the Icelandic guild, where I gained valuable experience.
I successfully managed two salons in Guatemala, Aym Salon.    and I am dedicated to providing exceptional and personalized service, combining international techniques with a unique touch. At Beauty Emporio, I am committed to your transformation.
